The All New 2020 Ram 1500!

overview

We may be a bit biased when we say that the 2020 Ram 1500 is an amazing truck. Of course we’re biased, we sell the thing of beauty. But if you’re a skeptic read on below as we dissect the truly spectacular all-new Ram 1500. The Ram is designed to impress like no other truck in its class, from its modest Tradesman model to the lavish Limited trim. When thinking about what you need for a fully capable half-ton pickup, the Ram simply goes above and beyond on all measures. When sitting inside of the cabin, you are instantly hit with a breath of simplicity complimented by the intricacies of an aesthetically pleasing interior. We celebrate a truck with technology that is functional, useful and above all user friendly. This truck offers three different engine options that are well equipped to dominate in power, fuel-economy, and cutting-edge engineering.

interior & tech.

You may be thinking that it’s easy to boast the beauty of the Limited or Longhorn trim levels because of its soft-leather interior or its 12-inch infotainment system with available USB and USB-C type ports. However, we want to discuss the standard trim level of the Tradesman because what we came to realize is that the interior in these trucks surpasses its competitors with trucks of equal price and lower quality cloth seats and vinyl. Another functionality behind the Ram is it’s multi-functional, highly configurable center console. The engineers really leveled with you all and considered all possible use cases for this storage space. Speaking of storage, the Ram also comes with the option to add RamBox bins that can be added to the bed walls and for even more storage look under the rear floor for a covered compartment.

Performance and Fuel Economy

The standard engine on the Ram 1500 is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with eTorque. If you are not familiar with eTorque, it is a mild hybrid system that helps the truck when accelerating from a stop by adding a small amount of electricity to increase power. This engine puts out 309 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Engine #2 is a 5.7L V8 Hemi also equipped with eTorque. The engine delivers 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. A cool feature with this option is its Active Noise-Control System. This system actively monitors in-cabin noises and deflects them with opposite-tuned frequencies for true cancellation. The third engine is the new 3.0L V6 Turbo EcoDiesel. The turbo on it has been updated and underwent a refresh on intake ports and fuel injectors nozzles according to ramtrucks.com. The turbo diesel engine delivers 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque.
