Dodge Offers Durango Special Service SUV to First Responders

Dodge is no stranger to supporting law enforcement agencies with their vehicles. Most recently, variants of the Dodge Charger have been widely adopted by police departments across the country.

Based on the success of previous adoption of Dodge vehicles for special purposes, Dodge is now aiming to build a Special Services SUV which is based on the Dodge Durango model design.

In this case, "Special Services" encompasses police and firefighters who need a special vehicle for enhanced utility and response time. The modified Dodge Durango will feature a heavy duty brake package, heavy-duty battery, large output 220-amp alternator and a heavy-duty water pump and engine oil cooler to ensure the vehicle performs under any conditions.

Other interior modifications have been made including a service interior dome lamp and headliner and the removal of third row seating to make space for extra cargo and gear.

While the professionals trust Dodge, so should you. If you're interested in the normal Dodge Durango, or any of Dodge's other models, come down to Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge on 2425 W Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85015 today.
