Tester Mule for New 2014 Jeep Vehicle Spotted

Back in 2009, we heard word that the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot would be retiring in 2013 and that a single new Jeep vehicle would replace them. Well, fast forward a few years and Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge has a few updates to share.

First off, in case those in the Phoenix area haven't heard, both the Compass and Patriot utility vehicles will get an extra year of production. Company officials have confirmed that the models will now live on until late summer of 2014. That being said, a tester mule for the models' successor has already been spotted.

As in the case with any test auto, we can't expect the real deal to look exactly the same as its pre-release counterpart. However, Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge can share a few details that are certain to carry over. Jeep vehicle fans can expect to see the replacement auto roll out on the same CUSW (Compact U.S. Wide) platform used for the body of the 2013 Jeep Liberty.

Unlike the Liberty however, this new model will ride lower to the ground and be much more car-like. Some might raise an eyebrow at the notion of straying from the brand's trail-ready style, however industry experts point on that the change will cater to Jeep vehicle fans that are more focused on day-to-day driving rather than adventurous expeditions. After all, there's a whole lineup of stellar new Jeep utility vehicles prepared for that.

Over the next year, Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge has a feeling we'll be seeing even more details emerge for the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot replacement. In the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to our Jeep blog and bring any questions or concerns to our helpful team members at 2425 W Camelback Road Phoenix, AZ 85015 anytime.
