Dodge To Debut All-New Dart

2013 Dodge Dart

Some people might be surprised to learn that Dodge is jumping into the compact sedan market, but  Bill Luke Chrysler Dodge Jeep is here to tell you Dodge has been planning this market entry for awhile.

Dodge has just announced that the 2013 Dodge Dart will be debuted at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January. True Dodge fans will remember the Dodge Dart from the 1960s and will be happy to know that the newest incarnation will feature new engine configurations.

According to Dodge, drivers will have their choice of Fiat's 1.4 liter turbo engine, and 2.0-liter as well as the 2.4-liter models currently available on Dodge models. Only in the new Dart, the 2.4-liter will be complete with variable-valve technology coined Multiair.

The more powerful engine configurations can deliver up to 190 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. For a compact sedan, this type of power can make for a feisty, fun ride. Power isn't the only consideration. Dodge has also announced that at least one of the Dart models will get 40mpg on the highway.

The new Dart will replace the outgoing Caliber in the Dodge sedan lineup and will feature brand new design language.

While we await the 2013 Dodge Dart, come down to Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge on 2425 W Camelback Road in Phoenix, AZ and we'll walk you through all the latest Dodge models.
